Canfield
March 17
Warrant: James McVay, 30, of Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of possessing drug-abuse instruments.
March 20
Intimidation: Fayza Zarowe, 55, of Barbie Drive, Boardman, was arrested on charges of intimidation of an attorney, witness or victimand aggravated menacing.
March 24
Drug possession: William Bodnar, 57, of 17 Johnathan Lane, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of drug possession.
I.D. fraud: A fraudulent tax return was reported by a resident of Morningview Circle. The Internal Revenue Service is investigating.
March 25
Theft: Frank Maggiano, 36, of Lafayette Ave., Niles, was arrested on a charge of theft that took place Feb. 20 at Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.
Theft: Wendy Bates, 41, of Fifth St., Struthers was arrested on charges of theft and criminal tools.
March 26
Warrant: Andrew Alferz, 20, of Deer Creek Court, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
March 27
Warrant: Antonio Pearce, 26, of Belmont Avenue, Warren, was arrested for failure to appear on a warrant from Weathersfield Township.

March 24
Theft: Property believed to have been stolen was recovered at Famous Hair, 5880 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A laptop was stolen at Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Paul Stanton, 37, of S. Raccoon Road, was arrested on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs and on a warrant from Niles.
Theft: A credit card was taken at a home in the 40 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: Joseph Sattarelle, 23, of West Evergreen, Youngstown, was released on a summons charging theft of candy bars at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Jewelry was taken at a home in the 3000 block of New Road.
Theft: A theft was reported at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Drug offense: Adam Niewes, 21, of West Chalmers, Youngstown, was issued a summons charging possession of marijuana.
March 25
Assault: A female was punched by an unknown male at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Five CBs were taken from five semi trucks at Tamarkin, 375 Victoria Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at Penske Truck, 350 Victoria Road.
Fraud: Accounts were opened in the victim’s name as a co-signer at a home in the 4000 block of Rita Avenue.
Theft: A wallet was stolen at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Checks, jewelry and other items were stolen from a home in the 200 block of Idlewood Road. There were no signs of forced entry.
Drug offense: Daren Stevenson, 33, of Dearborn Road, Youngstown, and Thomas Wilson, 27, of Woodgate Street were both issued summonses charging possession of marijuana.
March 26
Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 100 block of South Main Street.
Domestic violence: Trevor Morgan, 25, of Pembrook Drive, was arrested on a domestic-violence charge.
Burglary: A passport and currency were taken from a home in the 200 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Warrant: John Winwood, 43, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of making a false alarm.
March 27
Breaking and entering: A custom built motorcycle was stolen from a home in the 30 block of N. Yorkshire Blvd.
Fraud: A resident of the 6000 block of Winter Park Avenue was scammed out of $7,674 by callers claiming to be government representatives who said he owed taxes and instructed him to get pre-paid money cards to pay the bill.
March 28
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 3000 block of Kirk Road.
Aggravated menacing: Two males pulled a handgun on the homeowner at a home in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
March 29
Warrant: Dalton Smith, 21, of 215 Edgewater Drive, was arrested on a warrant charging possession of drug paraphernalia.
Disturbance: Family members were fighting with the daughter’s boyfriend at a home in the 100 block of South Main Street.
Theft: A juvenile was turned over to his mother after being caught stealing at Walmart.
Aggravated menacing: Threats were made at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Unknown items were stolen at a home in the 200 block of Rosemont Avenue.
Disorderly conduct: Brett Nickerson, 20, of 1674 Laurie Drive, was issued a summons charging disorderly conduct.
March 30
Domestic violence: Natasha Taylor, 22, of 1066 Compass West Drive was arrested on a domestic violence charge and Raymond Allen, 24, was issued two summonses charging possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Aggravated menacing: There is a suspect in an incident of aggravated menacing at a home in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.
Criminal trespass: Ryan Vaughn, 24, of 1220 North Palmyra Road, North Jackson, was issued a summons charging disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.
Disorderly conduct: Matthew Sprankle, 24, of South Lipkey Road, North Jackson, was issued a summons charging disorderly conduct.
Warrant: Danielle Ferguson, 28, of Arch Avenue, Alliance, was arrested on a warrant charging theft.
Disorderly conduct: Gail Micon, 57, of South Davis Street, Girard, was issued a summons charging disorderly conduct.
