Stone statue stolen from front yard in Boardman

BOARDMAN — A 75-pound stone statue was reported stolen from a front lawn Monday.

A male resident of Deer Run Drive told police someone stole his three-foot stone statue of a girl holding two buckets sometime between 1 and 3 p.m. Monday.

The statue weighs 75 pounds.

The resident did not know of any suspects, but told police an unidentified lawn care company was going door to door earlier Monday soliciting business.
