Three Boardman teenagers were arrested on charges of attempted burglary after they were accused of attempting to break into a West Boulevard apartment just after 11 p.m. Saturday.

Nicholas Pondillo Jr., 15, Dustin Sattarelle, 16, and Nicholas Bigley, 16, are charged with attempted burglary and obstructing official business.

When police arrived at the apartment building, three males jumped out from a bush and ran from the police toward the Giant Eagle parking lot on Boardman-Canfield Road.

Police eventually captured all three after a foot pursuit.

After returning to the apartment building, police saw the damage done to an air-conditioning unit.

The damage was believed to cost $200 to fix.

All three juveniles were taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center.
