April has finally arrived, bringing with it maybe, just maybe, an end to the sub-freezing

April has finally arrived, bringing with it maybe, just maybe, an end to the sub-freezing temperatures. To celebrate the occasion, here are five TV Aprils we’ve enjoyed over the years.

v April Dancer: A globe-trotting secret agent (played by Stefanie Powers), the title character in the short-lived spinoff “The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.”

v April Ludgate: The Pawnee employee (played by Aubrey Plaza) with the world’s best deadpan delivery on “Parks and Recreation.”

v April Margera: Mother of skateboarder/daredevil Bam Margera, who appeared with her son on his MTV reality shows “Viva La Bam” and “Jackass.”

v April O’Neil: The resourceful TV News reporter/human companion of those “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

v April Rhodes: The former McKinley High School glee club member (played by Kristin Chenoweth) who returns as an adult with some serious issues, along with a continuing desire to perform.

“The Voice” (8 p.m., NBC): In a conscious coupling, Coldplay frontman and Gwyneth Paltrow-ex Chris Martin advises contestants (but probably not about relationships).

“The Mindy Project” (9 p.m., Fox): Mindy Kaling’s sitcom returns from hiatus with back-to-back episodes.

“Inside Amy Schumer” (10:30 P.M., COMEDY CENTRAL): Headlined by its sweet-faced, but potty-mouthed star, “Inside Amy Schumer” was one of TV’s funniest surprise hits last year. So expectations are sky high as it returns for another season of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy, and woman-on-the-street interviews.
