MCCTC’s Bistro opens for dinner

Culinary students at the Adult Career Center at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center will open The Bistro at MCCTC for dinner service beginning Tuesday.

The Bistro will be open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. beginning Tuesday and ending Oct. 24.

Students in the Culinary and Restaurant Management course have whipped up a menu of freshly prepared soups, salads, appetizers, entrees and desserts. New menu items will be added weekly. In addition to preparing the food, the students will manage every aspect of operating a restaurant, from washing dishes to serving food and everything in between.

“Due to the tremendous response we received last year, we’re excited to open The Bistro back up for dinner service and share with our community the culinary talent we have at MCCTC,” said Sean Kushma, culinary and restaurant management instructor.

For diners visiting the restaurant, no credit cards are accepted at this time. Parking is available at the door 30 entrance to MCCTC. Daily specials will be posted each week on the Adult Career Center’s Facebook page at facebook.com/mcctcadulted.
