Alison Green’s goal on a Payton Bryant assist gave the Spartans a tie with Green. Tarah McCausland had the goal for Green. Boardman goalkeeper Kristen Huck made nine saves and Green’s Haleigh Seman had seven saves. JV: Green, 1-0. Poland 4, Springfield 0

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Carli Sebest scored three goals and Libby Rubesa the other for the Bulldogs. Lalnina Smith and Miranda Easterbrook combined to make four saves. For the Tigers, goalkeeper Devin Asher made 19 saves.

South Range 6, Badger 4

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Thanks to four second-half goals, the Raiders defeated the Braves in a high-scoring affair. Devin Allen and Casey Lindstrom each scored two goals for South Range (6-4-3). Makenzie Ferenchak notched two assists. Elaina Kimpel and Kendall Lindstrom also scored.

Howland 5, Warren Harding 0

HOWLAND

The Tigers raced out to a 4-0 first half lead. Jordan Entler opened the scoring at the 32:46 mark of the first half and Jenn Boyd, Heather Stinson, Jenna Dorchock and Kayla Watson followed. Hope Sutton had two assists for the Tigers (9-2-0). For Harding (6-5-2), Kate Lacy and Shailyn Powell combined for 15 saves. JV: 0-0.

Austintown Fitch 1, Canfield 0

AUSTINTOWN

Senior Alec Blankenship netted his first goal of the season. Senior Terry Worrell had the assist for the Falcons (6-2-4). The Cardinals drop to 5-4-2. JV: Canfield, 1-0.

Columbus Desales 3, Cardinal Mooney 1

COLUMBUS

The Cardinals were up against the fifth ranked team in Division II, Desales, but couldn’t overcome two second-half goals. Dante Pezzutti, Antonio Romanelli and Jared Pressley each scored for Desales. J.P. Baughman made six saves. Chris Perry scored for Cardinal Mooney (4-6-2) on an assist from Nicholas Koken. JV: Mooney 2-1.

Girard 4, Hubbard 0

GIRARD

Joe Colapietro scored three goals for Girard (6-5-2). Will Rich got the other goal for the Indians. Chris Mariano stopped all 10 shots he faced. Trevor Blose, Zack Burelli, and Kyle Cario each were credited with an assist for Girard.

South Range 2, Badger 2

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Tyler Rothbauer and Cole Frank scored for the Raiders. Goalkeeper Brant Rothbauer made 10 saves For Badger, Dominic Welch and Joe Gerospe scored.
