Pet masquerade will be postponed

The Pet Masquerade Ball, titled “Bark and Meow in the Park,” has been postponed from Saturday to Oct. 26 at Tod Park, Park Avenue.

Registration will be at 11 a.m., and the affair will run from noon to 4 p.m.

Donations are $5 for adults and $5 per pet; children are admitted free.

There will be games, prizes, entertainment, face painting, a basket auction, 50-50 raffle, pet photography and food.

Master of ceremonies will be state Rep. Bob Hagan; a dance demonstration will take place with mascot, Raja, an American Mastiff; and blessing of the pets will be given by Monsignor John A. Zuraw of St. Rose Church. Free frozen yogurt and will be provided for pets, and cake will be available for humans.
