Funeral services have taken place in northwest Ohio for a toddler who was missing for three months before her remains were found in a garage.

The service for Elaina Steinfurth took place Saturday near Toledo with burial to follow at the Lake Township Cemetery.

She was 11/2 years old when she was reported missing June 2.

The (Toledo) Blade said the small white coffin had her photo printed on the lid.

It was carried by four men including her father and grandfather.

The girl’s mother and a man she had been dating are charged with obstructing official business in the girl’s disappearance.

The remains were found Sept. 5 in a garage that belongs to the man’s family.

The cause of her death hasn’t been determined.
