2 arrested after police blockade in Boardman

BOARDMAN

Two men were arrested at 3:36 p.m. Friday in the 50 block of Robinhood Drive after police noticed a stolen car in the driveway.

Police tried to get someone to answer the door, but no one did, so they blocked off the street for a time, waiting for the home-owner to come home.

When police got inside, they arrested Scott Schulte, 38, of the Robinhood address, with obstructing official business. Jerry Bohrer, 51, of North Bon Air Avenue in Youngstown, was charged with receiving stolen property and obstructing official business.

He also was wanted on warrants. Boardman Sgt. Paul Grimes said officers noticed a stolen car in the area, then saw it parked at the Robinhood address.
