Youngstown man charged with aggravated burglary, assault

YOUNGSTOWN — Police arrested a city man about 8 p.m. Thursday who witnesses say broke into a home in the 3000 block of South Avenue and shoved a pregnant woman into a wall several times.

The woman said she was visiting a friend when Aurienn Jones, 22, came in, told the victim "you are not allowed on the South Side," slammed her into the wall, spit in her face and showed her a gun.

Police late found Jones in the 300 block of East Lucius Avenue and made the arrest. He is charged with aggravated burglary and assault.

Police searched for a gun but could not find one.
