Wing challenge will benefit children

The will be a Steel Valley Wing Challenge from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Tiffany’s Banquet Center, 601 Bedford Road.

The event will provide guests with samples of wings from 13 vendors. It will include a wing-eating contest with prizes, entertainment, a basket raffle, 50-50 raffle and cash bar. The cost is $10 per person for the contest and is limited to 30 participants who must be 18 or older.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $8 for children 6 to 13 and free for kids 5 and under.

Proceeds will benefit Homes for Kids, Child and Family Solutions, which provides foster care and addresses concerns of children and their families.
