POLAND

Anthony Sabula, Jacob Roemer and Scott Marucci each scored twice for Poland, while Steven Andrews, Ian Lange and David Watson added goals. Matt Slaven had two assists and Matt Hollsinger and Zach Lamping each had one. Bryan Montgomery made six saves and Kevin Burnett had two for the Bulldogs. John Mizgerd had seven saves for Niles.

Lordstown 9, Mathews 1

LORDSTOWN

Jake Jones scored three goals and had two assists for Lordstown (9-1-1). Dustin Hajnosz added a goal and an assist, while Nick Vigorito, Kendall Dingus, Eathan Radtke, Garret Behner and Jireyes Rafidi also scored. Dylan Negro had three saves. Ken Wallace scored an unassisted goal for Mathews.

Fabio Bassil scored the Spartans’ only goal off a corner kick from teammate Alex Thomas. The Blue Streaks’ only goal in the draw was scored by Eric Cotton. Boardman goalkeeper Bryan Fryda had 10 saves. Lake goalkeeper Kyle McDonald had nine.
