Fundraiser set for ministry in Haiti

VILLA MARIA, PA.

Sisters of the Humility of Mary will host Haiti: Moving Forward fundraiser to benefit the HM Ministry in Haiti, where the people are still living with the aftermath of an earthquake more than three years ago.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at Villa Maria Community Center, 225 Villa Marie Road. Cost is $50 per person with brunch included.

Speakers will be Ferel Bruno, a Haitian native who will share his personal story, and Sister Judy Dohner, who will provide an update on her ministry in Haiti.
