Warren teen accidentally shot

WARREN

A 13-year-old Laird Avenue girl was accidentally shot in the arm Wednesday afternoon at her house and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Warren police declined to identify the person who fired the shot, apparently from a rifle that was taken into evidence, along with a magazine for 22-caliber ammunition and nine 22-caliber bullets.

The shooting was reported at 2:19 p.m. and remains under investigation, police said.
