YSU president recommends reductions, delays and layoffs

YOUNGSTOWN

Due to a budget deficit, Youngstown State University President Randy Dunn is recommending cost-saving measures including delaying technology purchases, voluntary employee furloughs, voluntary vacation day reductions, personnel reductions, layoffs, energy savings and concurrent and future operating expense reductions.

The YSU Board of Trustees is expected to vote on the recommendation this afternoon.
