Gina C. Little, 19, of Akron and West Gate Drive in Braceville Township, has been sentenced to three years in prison for her part in a violent March 14 robbery in Arhaven Mobile Home Park in Braceville Township.

She pleaded guilty earlier in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated burglary.

Little and Todd M. Smith, 25, also of West Gate Drive, were charged after police said they broke into a neighbor’s mobile home wearing masks and demanded money and drugs.

During the robbery, Smith stabbed Jamie Stein, 33, seven times, causing serious injuries, and stabbed Timothy J. Wagner, 31, at least once, police said. Wagner also was treated at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital for lesser injuries.

In exchange for the three-year sentence, Little has agreed to testify at trial regarding the incident.

Smith’s girlfriend told police Smith and Little planned the robbery because Smith was $1,200 behind on the rent and needed money.

Smith faces the same charges as Little, as well as two counts of felonious assault and a specification that he’s a repeat violent offender. He returns to court Oct. 16.
