WARREN

Two 20-year-old Warren men are charged with felony robbery, accused of robbing a 19-year-old Warren man of his cellphone and $40 as he walked along Parkman Road Northwest.

The victim said he knew the two men who approached him at 10:50 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Parkman, and they talked as they walked. Then one of them ordered the victim to empty his pockets as he felt the barrel of a gun in his back.

Marcus P. Williams of Williamsburg Street Northwest and Jumal E. Rowe of Red Fox Run Northwest are then accused of taking the victim’s phone and cash from his pockets and running.

The victim went to a nearby gas station and called 911, giving a description of the suspects and saying they had gone toward Robert Street Northwest.

A Trumbull County deputy sheriff took Williams and Rowe into custody in the 1200 block of Robert. Police found two non-working BB guns on them.

Innocent pleas were entered for both men Tuesday in Warren Municipal Court. Williams is being held in the Trumbull County jail on $100,000 bond, and Rowe is being held on $75,000 bond.
