Pavlik enters written plea of not guilty to theft

CANFIELD

Former middleweight boxing champion Kelly Pavlik filed a written plea of not guilty at arraignment this afternoon on a misdemeanor theft charge.

The charge was filed by the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office for an accusation that he refused to pay a $25 cab fare to his Canfield Township home earlier this week. Pavlik is free on a $2,500 recognizance bond.
