Man in car shot in hip in Warren

WARREN

A 20-year-old Warren man was shot in the hip while sitting in a car in the driveway of a home in the 1100 block of Oak Knoll Avenue SE at 5:10 a.m. today.

The man said he and an 18-year-old man were sitting in a car in the driveway listening to music and smoking when gunshots were fired at them. The victim was taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The shots left bullet holes in their car and damage to the house, police said. Both men said they got out of the car by exiting through the broken window.
