Columbiana seeks donation of holiday tree

COLUMBIANA

The Columbiana Area Tourism Bureau is looking for a 35- to 40-foot pine tree to be on display in Columbiana’s town square during the 2013 Christmas season.

Organizers at the bureau will light and decorate the tree in preparation for this year’s Light Up the Night event at 6 p.m. Nov 22 on Main Street. During the event, the downtown Christmas lights are switched on and the 2013 “Joy of Christmas” light show will open at nearby Firestone Park.

The city of Columbiana will cut, haul and install the tree on Town Square, along with a sign announcing the donor’s name.
