Campbell police arrest Youngstown man on drug charges

CAMPBELL

Police arrested a Youngstown man on drug charges after noticing him loitering at a car wash, then finding drugs and drug paraphernalia in his car and on his person.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, police noticed a man — later identified as 35-year-old Edmund J. Miller — leaning on a car parked in one of the bays at a McCartney Road car wash, but not washing his car. Instead, the man had been observed talking with the drivers of other cars, who had pulled up by him.

According to the police report, the car wash has had issues with loitering, theft and drug activity.

Police approached Miller, and discovered that he had an active warrant through Trumbull County. He was then arrested, and police found a total of 6.3 grams of suspected crack cocaine, several white oval-shaped pills, and a digital scale.

Miller was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, as well as trafficking in drugs.
