Police identify two men shot Sunday

YOUNGSTOWN

Police have identified two men wounded in a shooting Sunday.

Detectives say Rahim Johnson, 17, and Samer Awadalla, 20, were the two people who were dropped off at the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Health Center about 3 p.m. by someone in a black Honda who then sped away.

Police believe the two were shot somewhere in the area of Council Rock near Lincoln Park and they think they found the car they were in when the shots fired at a 347 Superior Ave. home. The right front window and rear window of the car had been shot out, police said.

Johnson and Awadalla are both being treated at St. Elizabeth.
