Campbell police arrest Boardman man on drug charges
CAMPBELL
Police arrested a Boardman man on drug charges Friday after stopping him for a traffic violation.
At about 8:30 p.m., police noticed that a car on McCartney Road -- driven by 34-year-old Albert Jenkins III -- had no front license plate displayed.
In the car, police found an unlabeled pill bottle containing several oxycodone hydrochloride pills, which Jenkins said belonged to a member of his family. Police also confiscated $675 in cash.
Jenkins faces charges of trafficking in drugs and failing to have a prescription label. He was also cited for the license plate violation, and will appear in Campbell Municipal Court on Tuesday.
