Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA AND MAHONING COUNTIES

Wednesday, Sept. 25: Barbecue chicken strips, California blend vegetables, cubed sweet potatoes, unsweetened pears, bread, oatmeal cookie or angel food cake, and milk.

Thursday, Sept. 26: Beef meatballs, penne pasta, spaghetti sauce, green beans, unsweetened pineapple, bread and milk.

Friday, Sept. 27: Barbecue pulled pork on a bun, green beans, cubed redskin potatoes, unsweetened peaches, orange juice, cookie and milk.

Saturday, Sept. 28: Chicken breast, romaine salad, cucumber slices, banana, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, Sept. 30: Glazed chicken, sweet potato, green beans, sliced apricots, regular or sugar-free cookie, bread and milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 1: Manicotti with sauce, yellow squash, green peas, apple, orange juice, Italian bread, cookie or angel food cake and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal. To make a reservation or for more information, call 330-675-2486. Wednesday, Sept. 25: Stuffed pepper with sauce, mashed potatoes, buttered cabbage, applesauce, wheat bread with margarine, cupcake or angel food cake and milk.

Thursday, Sept. 26: Teriyaki chicken, oriental mixed vegetables, rice pilaf, pineapple, apple juice, wheat bread with margarine and milk.

Friday, Sept. 27: Lasagna with meat sauce, green beans, scalloped apples, lettuce with French dressing, bread stick and milk.

Monday, Sept. 30: Pork chop, mashed potatoes with gravy, brussels sprouts, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits and milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 1: Salisbury steak with gravy, O’brien potatoes, broccoli, grape juice, rye bread with margarine and milk.
