Federal grand jury indicts Farrell, Pa., man on robbery charge


PITTSBURGH — A federal grand jury has indicted a Farrell, Pa., man on federal gun and robbery charges in the armed robbery of a convenience store in his hometown.

Joshua Stewart, 20, is charged with robbing the B&M Market on Dec. 20, 2011. During the robbery, a gun was fired and cash and cigarettes were taken, the U.S. Attorney said.

Stewart faces 10 years to life in prison in this case, which was investigated by Southwest Mercer County Regional Police, the Mercer County District Attorney’s Office and the FBI.
