Executive: Racino should open in about a year

YOUNGSTOWN — Alex Stolyar, Penn National vice president of corporate development, told Mahoning County commissioners this morning that the Austintown racino should be up and running in about one year. The project will cost about $250 million, he said.

He said he expects the project to generate about 1,000 construction jobs and another 1,000 direct and indirect jobs once it’s open.
