A masked man robbed a Lockwood Boulevard convenience store at knifepoint late Thursday night.

An employee at Circle K told police that about 11:15 p.m., a man entered the front of the store, brandished a knife and demanded money. The employee opened the cash register and the man grabbed money from the drawer and ordered the employee to the back of the store. The robber then fled on foot.

The employee ran through the woods and a creek, losing his glasses in order to reach a nearby business to call police.
