Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley will host the fifth annual “Miracles and Promises” Radiothon at its Beeghly Campus, 6505 Market St., Wednesday through Friday. The radiothon will be broadcast live on Mix 98.9 and 570 WKBN from the lobby of Building D from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day.

The radiothon will feature stories about local patients who have received services from Akron Children’s Hospital and will spotlight Mahoning Valley services and programs. All of the funds raised during the “Miracles and Promises” Radiothon will benefit local children and families. Donors can call 1-888-746-9890 at any time during the radiothon to make a pledge, or they can donate online atakronchildrens.org/mv.

In the first four years, the Radiothon has raised more than $540,000.
