Library is hosting book-signing session

SALEM

Salem Historical Society will sponsor a book-signing session with local authors from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Dale Shaffer Library, 239 S. Lundy Ave.

Items will be displayed from the Fall Family Fun Day exhibit, including a spinning demonstration and history of Society of Friends that founded Salem in 1806.

Local authors present for the signing and conversation will include Karen Biery, “Believe, Pieces, and Chattles”; David Hunter, “Love Those Quakers — The Road to Columbus”; Bob Schuck, “Schuck Luck”; Mary Beth Shivers, “Q is for Quakers”; and Richard J. Theiss, “Surprise, Surprise.”

Hunter will arrive at 2 p.m.

Books can be purchased in the library gift shop.
