Couple accused of abusing relative surrender

The husband and wife accused of shooting her mentally disabled brother with a BB gun surrendered to police Monday.

According to The Vindicator’s broadcast partner 21 WFMJ-TV, Heather Wymer, 30, and her husband, Michael Wymer, 35, are in Mahoning County jail.

They face charges of assault, domestic violence and failing to provide for a functionally impaired person.

Police were searching for the couple last week. Scott McCrory, 24, told deputies he was abused by the two while living in their home.
