Duncan’s Bath and Kitchen Center, 108 S. Main St., Poland, has been recognized by Qualified Remodeler Magazine’s list of Top-500 remodelers.

The Top-500 list is the longest-running recognition program in the remodeling industry. Duncan’s Bath and Kitchen Center was the only Mahoning Valley remodeler to make the list.

Gerd Franke has been named a new principal at Hill Barth & King of Boardman. Franke joined HbK in 1999. He is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University and a certified public accountant.

Financial Services

Sequoia Financial Group of Akron has welcomed four new hires: Gillianne Russ, executive assistant; Elizabeth Murray, marketing coordinator; Andy White, private client services associate, and Dan Parnin, compliance analyst.

Michelle L. Wright has been hired as a tax and accounting manager at JFS Wealth Advisors. She will be responsible for developing planning strategies, monitoring tax- law changes and maintaining client satisfaction. Wright has a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and a master’s degree from DePaul University.

Health care

Dr. John Schinner has joined the Liberty Family Medicine Center. Dr. Schinner, a family-medicine specialist, will provide care for infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. He completed a family-medicine residency at St. Elizabeth Health System in Youngstown and is board eligible through the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Schinner is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.
