Help Hotline gets $4,000 grant
YOUNGSTOWN
Help Hotline Crisis Center, Inc. received $4,000 from the Ridgecliff Foundation for operation of the Peer Warm Line. Trained peers offer peer-to-peer, non-crisis telephone support and encouragement to individuals who are coping with mental health, alcohol or drug problems.
The Peer Warm Line operates from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The number is 1-866-303-7337.
The program is also funded by the Mahoning County Mental Health Board, the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board, the Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, and the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation.
