Donations benefit nonprofit organization

YOUNGSTOWN

The building housing Youngstown Y-PAL, 4140 Southern Blvd., a nonprofit youth empowerment organization, is getting a new roof Friday thanks to the donation of time, materials and labor from ABC Supply, M&J Roofing, J&V Roofing, Home Depot, Ackworth Construction, Fabien Construction and AIM Construction.

The building was donated by Local 118 of the Utility Workers Union of America.

Sparkle Market in Cornersburg is donating food for workers.
