A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Aug. 11

Burglary: Police investigated a possible burglary at a home in the 80 block of Timber Run Drive.

Aug. 13

Theft: Video games were stolen from a home in the 20 block of Fairground Boulevard.

Sept. 1

Burglary: A report of a possible burglary was made at a home in the 200 block of Moreland Drive.

Sept. 2

Warrant: Police arrested Casey Colla, 32, of Westminster Avenue, Austintown, on a warrant from Austintown Police.

Sept. 4

Warrant: Police arrested Richard Hall, 32, of Evaline Street, Warren, on a warrant for failure to appear in court out of mayor’s court in Canfield.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Johnathan Ambrose, 21, of Sixth Street, Struthers, for drug abuse; Bryon Weidner, 23, of Mackey Street, Hubbard, for drug possession and drug abuse; and Drake Youngblood, 34, of Hawthorne Street, Struthers, for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 5

Warrant: Police arrested Brian Byo, 43, of Perry Street, Struthers, on a warrant out of Struthers Municipal Court for failure to appear.

AUSTINTOWN

Sept. 2

Warrant: Police arrested Andrew Moore, 29, of Silliman Street, Youngstown, on a Trumbull County traffic warrant.

Lost or stolen property: A wallet and a Chase debit card were reported lost or stolen from a home in the 300 block of Westminster Avenue.

Theft: An undetermined amount of cash was stolen from a car in the 3000 block of Dunbar Street.

Theft: A cellphone was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of New Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Claudia Gamble, 22, of Fountain Square Drive, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.

Menacing: A male threatened to have a female beaten up at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Recovered property: A debit card was recovered at Huntington Bank, 1732 S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Casey Colla, 32, of Youngstown-Salem Road, Canfield, on a warrant for passing bad checks.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Lisa Roberts, 46, of Lowellville Road, Struthers, for possession of marijuana.

Sept. 3

Warrant: Police arrested Rachelle Alexander, 42, of Willowcrest Avenue, on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of petty theft and criminal trespassing.

Theft: Two streetlight pole heads and lights were taken at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: Police arrested William Porter,18, of 2007 Weston Ave., Struthers, for theft, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Warrant: Police arrested Frankie Krynicki Jr., 40, of Kroeck Avenue, on a warrant for theft.

Child abuse: A 2-month-old child with a broken arm was reported as a case of child abuse. The child lived at an apartment in the 100 block of Compass West Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 5000 block of Vassar Avenue.

Theft: A debit card was stolen and unauthorized charges were made on it at a home in the 3000 block of Briarwood Lane.

Sept. 4

Theft: An employee is accused of theft at B.W. Rogers, 1034 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: A revolver was stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Domestic violence: Police arrested Edward Bielik, 30, of Starwick Court, on the charge.

Burglary: Police said they have suspects involved in a burglary at a home in the 1000 block of Woodgate Street.

Theft: Police arrested Anthony Colla, 22, of East Fifth Street, McDonald, for theft of a sports drink and two packs of cough and cold medicine at Giant Eagle,5220 Mahoning Ave.

Sept. 5

Breaking and entering: A garage was entered and tools were taken at a home in the 500 block of Westgate Boulevard.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered on Woodridge Drive.

Sept. 5

Warrant: Police arrested Kenny Stanton, 28, of Pinehill Drive, Boardman, on a warrant for complicity to theft.

Recovered property: A bicycle was taken and recovered, and tools were located at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Recovered property: A cellphone stolen at the Austintown Intermediate School, off Idaho Road, was recovered in Campbell.

Warrant: Police arrested Joe Bob Gibson Jr., 44, of Cannon Road, on a warrant for failure to appear on theft charges.

Theft: A steel plate was stolen from a motorcycle parking area at Infocision, 5740 Interstate Blvd.

Sept. 6

Theft: A lawnmower and air compressor were stolen from a home in the 100 block of Beverly Avenue.

Burglary: A vehicle parked in a garage was entered and items were taken at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Thomas Opatken, 25, of Pembrook Road, on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Evan Smith,22, of Bedell Road, Berlin Center, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was stolen from a vacant home in the 90 block of Westminster Avenue.

Breaking and entering: There was no forced entry, but cash and merchandise were taken at Wonderstruck, 3649 Canfield Road.

Sept. 7

Vandalism: Someone cut a brake line on a vehicle at a home in the 90 block of Kenmar Court.

Criminal damaging: A male threw a juvenile’s bike into the back of his truck at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Sept. 8

Warrant: Police arrested Ryan Sponaugle, 20, of Mahoning Avenue, Apartment 6, on a warrant for failure to appear on a historical plate violation.

Warrant: Police arrested Andrew Stanton, 26, of North Navarre Avenue, on a warrant for complicity.

Burglary: A home was entered with no sign of forced entry in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle.
