Mount Union ranks high on U.S. News list

ALLIANCE — The University of Mount Union has been ranked sixth in U.S. News and World Report’s 2014 America’s Best Colleges list for Midwest Regional Colleges.

The university is also ranked eighth in the magazine’s Best Values in the same 11-state region which includes institutions in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Mount Union’s 2014 Best Colleges ranking is up from last year’s 12th place finish in the same category and marks the 23rd consecutive year the university has been included in the listing.
