Trace Adkins plans Christmas show at the Covelli

YOUNGSTOWN — Country singer Trace Adkins will come to Covelli Centre Dec. 4 for a 7:30 p.m. Christmas concert.

Tickets are $52, $42 and $32 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com, the Covelli Centre box office, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, and at all Ticketmaster outlet.

The concert will complement Adkins’ new release, “The King’s Gift,” a Celtic-flavored Christmas album and will include stories and carols that is geared toward families.

Throughout the show, Adkins will alternate between fireside story-telling and performances of classic carols like “We Three Kings,” “Silent Night,” “Little Drummer Boy,” and more with a 12-piece ensemble, female vocalists and a range of traditional instruments.
