Mahoning Valley Historial Society has gallery ribbon-cutting Tuesday
YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will dedicate a gallery in honor of Jeanne D. Tyler in the Arms Family Museum at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday as part of the society’s Founders' Day Dinner.
The ribbon-cutting will include Mrs. Tyler; society president Dr. William J. Cleary; and Bill Lawson, society executive director. The gallery will be dedicated as a costume gallery and will be used to display the society’s collection of historic clothing and textiles.
The dinner is in celebration of the society’s 138th anniversary.
