Annual Villa Maria Harvest Day is Oct. 5

The 14th annual Villa Maria Harvest Day will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at Villa Maria Community Center.

The family-centered event will include live music by the Allegheny Drifters bluegrass band, dulcimer music by Jan Hammond, hay rides, alpacas, farm-fresh food, baked goods, children’s games and crafts, vendors and a gift-basket raffle.

Special entertainment will be provided by Jot the Clown, the Paws and Taws square dancers and the Country Cloggers .

The Villa Maria Market Barn will be open for purchases of seasonal produce, herbal crafts, pumpkins, straw bales, corn stalks and mums.

The Villa Shoppe will offer unique purses, jewelry, baskets, scarves, books and CDs.

Those attending are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for donation to local food banks.
