Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA AND MAHONING COUNTIES

Wednesday, Sept. 11: Pork with gravy, seasoned potatoes, mixed vegetables, unsweetened applesauce, grape juice, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Thursday, Sept. 12: Lasagna, spinach, yellow squash, pineapple tidbits, banana muffin, orange juice, bread and milk.

Friday, Sept. 13: Beef hot dog on a bun, corn, french fries, tropical fruit, grape juice and milk.

Saturday, Sept. 14: Ham, romaine salad, three-bean salad, gelatin, orange, bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, Sept. 16: Dijon chicken breast, redskin potatoes, oriental vegetables, unsweetened peaches, orange juice, bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Tuesday, Sept. 17: Cheese ravioli, carrots, peas, unsweetened tropical fruit, gelatin, Italian bread and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal. To make a reservation or for more information, call 330-675-2486. Wednesday, Sept. 11: Mandarin chicken, mashed sweet potatoes, spinach, mixed fruit, rye bread, cupcake or angel food cake and milk.

Thursday, Sept. 12: Swedish meatballs, bowtie pasta with gravy, broccoli, peas and carrots, diced pears, wheat bread with margarine and milk.

Friday, Sept. 13: Tuna-noodle casserole, wax beans, applesauce, shredded lettuce with French dressing, wheat bread with margarine and milk.

Monday, Sept. 16: Breaded fish with tartar sauce on a bun, zesty potatoes, broccoli, diced peaches and milk.

Tuesday, Sept. 17: Steak burger with mushrooms on a bun, cheesy onion mashed potatoes, mexicorn, diced pears and milk.
