Monsignor William J. Connell officiated at the 1:30 p.m. May 4 wedding of Kristen Francine Nespeca and Daniel Andrew Sorbo at Holy Family Church. A reception followed at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

Neil and Janet Guerrieri of Boardman and David and Susan Nespeca of Poland are the parents of the bride. The groom’s parents are Paul and Jean Henry of New Castle, Pa.

The bride wore a trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline embellished with crystals and beads. A V-back completed the gown with beaded motifs adorning the lace.

The bride’s sister, Michelle Villa, wearing a champagne-colored gown, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Rosen, Christine Stevens and Julie Bowyer, the bride’s cousins; Melissa Centofante; Kelly Sorbo, the groom’s sister-in-law; Jennifer Bederik; Erin Roudolph; and Brandi Loew. Lilia Sorbo, the groom’s niece, was flower girl. The attendants wore plum-colored gowns.

The groom’s brother, David Sorbo, was best man.

Groomsmen were Michael Henry, the groom’s brother; Richard Rosen and Robert Rosen, the bride’s cousins; Nelson Villa, the bride’s brother-in-law; Jeffrey McCurley; Scott McCurley; Matthew Roach; and James Badger. Nicholas Villa, the bride’s nephew, was the ring bearer.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in education and sociology from Youngstown State University. She is director of the preschool Learn It Systems in Youngstown.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Slippery Rock University. He is a salesman for Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown.

After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Boardman.
