Beer Fest tickets are now on sale

Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural Youngstown Beer Fest, which will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at Covelli Centre.

The event will feature about 200 craft beers from more than 80 breweries from across the nation.

General admission tickets are $50, and VIP tickets are $75. To purchase, go to the Covelli box office, call 1-800-745-3000 or go to ticketmaster.com.

There is a limited supply of VIP tickets, which includes an early session with the brewers from 1 to 3 p.m.

VIP tickets holders will also enjoy a special Peroni VIP entrance, merchant giveaways, Beer 101 lessons taught by experts and a food pairing with special-release brews.

In addition to the brews, Beer Fest will feature displays, food, merchandise and giveaways.

All Beer Fest patrons will receive a Youngstown Beer Fest commemorative taster mug.
