Airport partners get nonprofit designation

VIENNA

YNGAir Partners, formed to help the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport acquire additional airline service for the Mahoning Valley, has received a 501 (c) (3) designation for nonprofit charitable purposes.

The designation enables YNGAir Partners to solicit tax-exempt donations and foundation grants to sustain organization operations and expenses and host events and efforts for airlines and prospective businesses interested in the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport and Western Reserve Port Authority, said Jim Pirko, YNGAir president.
