Poland Safety Forces Appreciation Day Saturday

Poland Township Safety Forces Appreciation Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Poland Giant Eagle parking lot.

There will be free refreshments and games. Police, fire and

ambulance vehicles will be there to view. Departments on display are Poland Township, Poland Village, Springfield Canine Unit, The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Western Reserve Fire Department and Rural Metro Ambulance.

Akron Children’s Hospital will install child car seats for free. This event is sponsored by Aqua Ohio Inc., Poland Giant Eagle and Republic Services.
