State Rep. Tom Letson enters not-guilty plea on misdemeanor charge
WARREN — Atty. Tom Letson, a state representative for Warren, has entered a written not-guilty plea to the misdemeanor zoning charge filed against him over a house he owns on Foster Street Northeast.
Because he filed the written plea, Letson didn't have to appear this morning in Warren Municipal Court. The city filed the charge against Letson, D-64th, last week.
It accuses him of violating the single-family zoning for the neighborhood because the home is being operated as a "sober house" for recovering alcoholics.
The people he leased the home to are operating the facility.
