Smart Choice Food orders accepted this month

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice Food from 7 to 8 p.m. Sept. 12 and 11 a.m. to noon Sept. 16.

Cash or the Ohio Direction card will be accepted both days at the church as well as at Niles Community Services from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 16.

Boxes range in price from $18 to $39 and include meat, vegetables, convenience meals, kids box, breakfast box, steak box and fish sticks box.

A 5-pound, breaded- chicken patties box is available for $13 with the purchase of any other box.

Online specials at www.smartchoicefood.com can be ordered on the website or at the church.

There are no income restrictions or guidelines. Mail-in orders will be accepted with payment of postal or bank money order or certified check to New Hope Church.

Payment and mail-in orders must be received before Friday. To receive a receipt, enclose a self- addressed, stamped envelope.

Online ordering at www.smartchoicefood.com will close at 11 p.m. Sept. 19. A 3 percent handling fee will be added to all online orders.

Distribution is from 9 to 10 a.m. Sept. 28. A community breakfast will be served from 9 to 10:30 a.m. that day.
