Homicide by vehicle charges filed in crash
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A woman has been charged with homicide by vehicle in the crash of a sport utility vehicle into a group waiting at a bus stop that claimed two lives a year ago.
Twenty-seven-year-old Caitlyn Clark of Nazareth is also charged in Lehigh County with aggravated assault and reckless endangering in the September 2012 crash in Hanover Township near Lehigh Valley International Airport.
Police said the SUV hit a utility pole and people at the Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority bus stop, then plowed through a fence. Fifty-one-year-old Elias Tabarani of Allentown died at the scene and 28-year-old Angel Bosch of Easton later died at a hospital. Two other men were seriously injured.
