Warren police find autistic boy home alone

WARREN

Police were called to a home in the 1800 block of Parkman Road Northwest at 3 p.m. Friday and found a 9-year-old autistic boy home alone.

Several minutes later, his 11-year-old sister arrived. Both kids said their father told them he would be there when they got home, but he hadn’t arrived.

Warren police learned both parents were at the Warren Police Department getting a vehicle released.

The children were released to the parents at the Warren Police Department, and Trumbull County Children’s Services opened an investigation.
