Wedderburn Castle was the setting of the 3 p.m. July 18 wedding of Kirstin Walker and Patrick James Wilkens. The Rev. David Gaddes officiated. A reception also took place at the castle.

Alan and Angela Walker of Duns are the parents of the bride. Parents of the groom are Patrick and Sharon Wilkens of Canfield.

The bride wore a backless, fitted lace gown.

Robyn Matthews was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Wilkens, the groom’s sister; Suzanne Nelson; and Kimberley Hull.

The attendants wore light peach gowns.

The groom’s brothers, Matt Wilkens and Chris Wilkens, shared the duties of best man.

Groomsmen were David Bramar and Scott Walker, the bride’s brother.

The bride received a degree in exercise science and marketing from Youngstown State University. She is a sales supervisor for Macy’s in Boardman.

The groom received a degree in criminal justice from YSU and is a police officer for Mill Creek MetroParks in Youngstown.
