24-year-old woman knocked out by another woman

A 24-year-old Hunter Street woman told police she was knocked out by another woman late Monday.

Police were called to a home in the 2600 block of Hunter Street about 11 p.m. for a report of a woman who was unconscious. The victim told police when she came to she was arguing with a 20-year-old woman who was at her home to retrieve some property when the woman hit her in the head and face several times, knocking her out. She ran away before police arrived.

The victim had a black eye and a large knot on her forehead and was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment, reports said.
