Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Tuesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo at 10, bridge club at 10:30, Drums Alive at 11, AARP Notables at 1 p.m. and car show at 6; Wednesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo at 10, tai chi and pizza party ($3) at noon and movie matinee, “Some Like It Hot,” at 12:30 p.m.; Thursday, open exercise at 8 a.m., wood carving at 9, yoga at 9:15, SOS at 9:30, beginner crochet at 11 and a la carte dinner and bingo at 5 p.m.; and Friday, open exercise at 8 a.m., trip to Amish country and discussion group on comparative religion at 9 and bingo at 10; and Saturday, ham fest at 8 a.m. and MV Olde Car Club at 7 p.m. For information call 330-953-1416 or visit www.austintownseniorcenter.webs.com.

Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., has planned the following: Tuesday, arts and crafts at 10 a.m., AngeNetta’s Cafe at 10:30, beginner and intermediate bridge at noon and Care Giver support group at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolors at 10 a.m., tap class at noon, 500 card club at 1 p.m. and line-dancing at 1:30; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and woodcarvers at 9 a.m., computer classes at 10 and noon, exercise at noon and advanced computer at 2 p.m.; and Friday, Wii bowling at 10 a.m., band at noon, card and board games at 1 p.m. and cornhole at 2. A trip to The Meadows Casino is planned for Sept. 24, departing from the senior center at 8:30 a.m. and returning at 6 p.m. Cost is $35 for members. Call to register by Sept. 14. Trumbull County Probate Court and Senior Court AARP Driver’s Safety Program will provide a certified instructor to review driving skills, techniques and strategies to help seniors adjust to physical changes that may affect their driving abilities. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 18 at Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive. Refreshments and lunch will be served.
